The Ghanaian/English actor Peter Mensah is one of the major stars in a television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (the Blood and Sand prequel) and now in Spartacus Blood and Sand Season 2 entitle “Vengeance”. His role as Doctore Oenomaus is one of the inspirable parts of the series because he shows up a discipline to any gladiators. Oenomaus is considered as a best friend of the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena main character, Gannicus. The two was considered each other as brother. Oenomaus is one of the strongest gladiators in the Arena but when he kills the past Doctore, Batiatus assigned this role to him.
The present of Oenomaus in Spartacus Vengeance as one of the ally of Spartacus if I’m not mistaking is one of the strong foundation of those rebel gladiator against Roman republic. In taking revenge in making them as a slave and make them fight each other inside the arena, Oenomaus will do everything to get what they are aiming.
Peter Mensah is also popularly known in his role in Tears of Sun and 300. He also appeared in one popular film Avatar as the Horse Clan leader.
